CAGE & COIN SUPERVISOR
Do you have a love of leadership and a knack for numbers? This may be the role you have been waiting for. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily cage & main bank operations. Your strong presence on the gaming floor will be vital to your management of people and interacting with customers while delivering exceptional customer service. You will ensure compliance with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations and all applicable laws, policies and procedures. As a role model, you will demonstrate integrity, respect, and accountability, assisting with the hiring, training, evaluating, recognition, and development of your staff.
The successful candidate will possess:
– Post-secondary education in a relevant field
– One or more years of experience in a leadership role
– A strong mathematical aptitude, managerial skills and familiarity with a high-volume, fast paced, shift-work environment
– Working knowledge of computer software and the ability to learn new software and systems
– Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
– The ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario

Guest Services
Responsible for the supervision of the Guest Services team in a shift work environment.
GUEST SERVICES SUPERVISOR
You will be responsible for the supervision of the Guest Services team in a shift work environment. Your strong presence on the gaming floor will be vital to your management of people and interacting with guests while delivering exceptional service and ensuring compliance with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations and other applicable laws, policies and regulations. You will be responsible for fostering a safe and efficient work environment, while maintaining an open-door policy. You will be accountable for your staff, assisting with hiring, training, evaluations, recognition and development. You will be involved in planning and executing site promotions with the Guest Services Manager and your strong organizational skills will allow for balancing multiple responsibilities in operational demands and employee engagement.
The successful candidate will possess:
– A post-secondary diploma in Marketing or a Business-related discipline
– A minimum of two (2) years of special events coordinator and/or public relations experience
– A minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience in the service industry
– Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, analytical, verbal and written communication skills
– Working knowledge of computer application packages, such as MS Office
– The ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario

TABLE GAMES SUPERVISOR
Casino Woodbine is seeking a dynamic individual with a drive to succeed, strong business acumen & leadership skills to fill the role of Table Games Pit Supervisor. Under the general direction of the Table Games Floor Manager, this position is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day activities of table games operations on an assigned area basis while establishing and contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees. Assists with the implementation all new table games initiatives. Above all else, leading by example to create Great Experiences and Memories for all guests and colleagues.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
– Helps to create an engaged work environment by choosing positivity and fun, recognizes excellent peer performance, and by caring about and supporting our colleagues every day
– Monitors Dealers in an assigned area; maintains game integrity; monitors game limits and cash/value transactions; may assign shift work assignments in an assigned area
– Makes changes to schedules as required
– Provides input for coaching and mentoring employees
– Participates in the implementation of table games strategic plans
– Requests fill/credit issuance as required
– Verifies cash/value transactions pertaining to floats, fills credits and tips
– Responds to, resolves or escalates issues
– Reports irregularities and suspicious activities
– Assists in allotting player seating and waiting lists
– Maintains a tidy work area
– Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
– Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership and employees
– Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
The successful candidate will possess:
– Minimum 6 months of supervisory experience in a commercial casino
– Secondary School Diploma; Post-Secondary education or a suitable combination of education and experience an asset
– Must be rated for all the games offered in Casino Woodbine

FRONT SERVICES SUPERVISOR
The Front Services Supervisor is responsible for the administration and day to day supervision and operation of housekeeping services at the gaming site. In this role, you will supervise a team of housekeepers in a shift work environment, fostering a safe and efficient work environment. You will be accountable for your staff, assisting with hiring, training, evaluations, recognition and development. You will ensure proper inventory levels of supplies and ensure that equipment is operating efficiently. Your strong presence on the gaming floor will be vital to your management of people and interacting with customers, while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring compliance with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations and other applicable laws, policies and regulations.
The successful candidate will possess:
– A College Diploma or equivalent required with focus in Hospitality or related discipline
– Supervisory experience in a related field of one (1) or more years
– Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication and managerial skills
– Working knowledge of computer software packages is an asset
– The ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
TRAINING
Candidates who are interested in working at the New Pickering Casino Resort must be able to work from Casino Woodbine for training until the new casino opens its doors.
